Toad – known in Japan as Kinopio (キノピオ^?) – is a fictional, anthropomorphic mushroom in the Mario series, created by Shigeru Miyamoto. A citizen of the Mushroom Kingdom, Toad is one of Princess Peach‘s most loyal servants and is constantly working on her behalf.
